LOLSCHOOL (Actually, it ain't so LOL)

So, I've already spent 4 weeks in this new school term. Things are going OK... I guess. Some things about this term make me lol, some make me grr, and some just make me wtf.

1.) My classmate and my other classmate:

Girl (teasing): You know, you're so ugly.

Guy: Ha, give me a break. You had a huge crush on me in first year!

Girl: ....

Me (passing by): ... Owned.

Too bad said guy's taken, by girl's best friend.

2.) Epic, exam is epic.

... In the whole 14-15 years that I've been studying, not ONCE did I ever encounter a multiple choice type exam that provided a blank field for your explanation on why you chose that answer >____>. That's how ALL our exams in Physics II are. I actually don't really mind, some of his questions are easy enough and I know he's testing if we're really confident with our answer. But the fact that we have to write an explanation makes the 3-4 hours of that class highly insufficient to finish the exam with confidence >_>. What's more, I have Histology an hour after that class, and I can't help but feel like my mind's turned to jelly during that time.

3.) .... Flies

In our Genetics class, we're taking care of some Drosophila (fruit flies) cultures so that we can cross-breed them (we start this Monday). They gave it to us 3 weeks earlier without even giving is proper orientation on how to take care of the little critters exactly. My red-eyed breed had died off already without me understanding why, and my white-eyed followed. One internet search later, I realized my cultures were being attacked by mites >___>. So I'm just gonna ask for some extra flies from my classmates this Monday, but I've taken the precaution about the mites. I asked around, and it seems the mites have become a bit of a problem with the others' cultures too (once you notice larva no longer comes from the adults, the white-type mites that feed on eggs are present. If the flies themselves are dying off in an alarmingly fast rate than usual, the brown-type mites are around). Just one thing: HOW COME NO ONE WARNED US ABOUT THEM DARN MITES!!??

4.) Engrish

Not gonna mention exactly on which subject, but this particular professor of ours takes Engrish to a whole new level. Let's just say each of said professor's sentences is in Engrish. Epic.

5.) "You guys again?"

One of our professors is our professor in three subjects: Animal Systematics, Histology and Biological Techniques. Actually, I like this. She's a great professor and one of the few that I actually don't fall asleep when teaching, so all great. We also found out that she was supposed to be our professor in Genetics. Aw, I would've wanted her to be :(...

6.) Make up my mind

So there's this guy I like in school XD -shot-. The thing of it is, I'm not sure if I really like him. When I'm trying to forget him and telling myself that I don't like him, he suddenly makes his presence known, a lot. And when I'm trying to look for him more, he's nowhere around. Oh lol.

7.) -______-

I've been procrastinating, a lot. Who the heck studies for an exam the morning of the actual day??

8.) LOLSCHEDULE

My classes are 7:30-6pm everyday. What's worse, assuming that at 6pm, there's rain outside. Expect traffic to be triple-fold, and no jeeps to ride. My usual I'll be home by 7:30 becomes an I'll be home by 11pm >_>...

Oh joy.

My Little Brother is a Very Cute Little Kid

First off, thanks for all the get well soon comments from everyone XD. And now, I'm all better ^__^/

Tomorrow's Father's Day, and my mom and I were discussing what we could do for my dad. My little brother, a five year-old, was with us in the room, watching 07-Ghost with me (lol as if he understood what was going on in the show).

And then all of a sudden, my little brother blurts out (in the cutest way possible 'cause I have this little brother fetish that everything my little brother does I see as adorably and irresistibly cute):

"'Di ba dapat ate meron ding Brothers' Day at Sisters' Day para tayo din mag celebrate, Ate?"

which is translated as "Isn't it there should also be a Brothers' Day and Sisters' Day so that we can also celebrate, Oneechan?"

He just made me go "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ♥♥♥" on the inside (and one of these days I swear I'll train him to actually call me "oneechan" XD)

Rants about my life:

1.) I'm sick. I have a fever fluctuating from 37C to 38C.
2.) Because of that stupid A(H1N1) virus thing, anyone with a temperature of 37.5C and up are not allowed to enter my school (we have a thermo scanner thingy now). Though I managed to lower my temperature by overdosing myself with Paracetamol and Vitamin C. I have a feeling that's bad.
3.) I come home and go to the PC to relax, and I see WTF posts in the threads I frequent over at the Tales Forums. Just made my fever rise, damn it.

My Own Personal Guide in Identifying a GOOD AMV/GMV (Anime/GAME Music Video)

AC has this little feature in the site called AMV of the Month. That's where I post good AMVs I find in YouTube/DailyMotion so that they can get more recognition. The past few months, I've been having difficulty finding GOOD ones... and have been seeing really ridiculous ones.

So... for me, exactly what makes an AMV/GMV good? Here's my take on the matter:

*Note: All image examples done here are done by me. I will not point out actual AMVs that are... ugh.

1.) Timing

I see what you did thar...
- I consider this a BIG thing. In some AMVs, timing makes EVERYTHING. Let's just say, you have a really upbeat song... I don't like seeing slow scenes coupled with the fast parts that song. Neither do I want to see fast/fighting scenes coupled with the slow parts of the song. If you can time parts of the video to even the instrumental part, then try to do so. If you're having trouble deciding whether to time that one scene to the lyrics or the melody (sometimes it happens), then choose whichever, and on the next part with the same problem, choose vice versa of what you just did, for variety. Do not put big heaping chunks of a video (hello 30-second clips of a video you didn't even cut) with the song unless it really fits the song. When I browse for AMV of the Month, and I notice that the video isn't timed properly for the first 30 seconds, I disregard it =\...

2.) Effects aren't everything

Just WTF am I supposed to be looking at here??
- It's swell and all that people are learning to use difficult programs like Sony Vegas and Premiere Pro... but some people get waaay to overexcited with the new found possibilities... to the point that their videos don't look good anymore. Black and white scenes? Fine. Fade in/fade out in white/black? Totally fine. Split screen? Fine if in moderation. Overlayed videos? Again, fine if in moderation. But overlaying about 5-7 videos/images over another one, and doing it in every single scene just makes the video too busy, and in my opinion, revolting. How about flashes? Unless your motive is to blind your viewers, then don't overuse them. If you have a part in the song that has a lot of beats, like, a lot, then I suggest just using the black fade in/fade out and not the flashes. And for the love of... don't use that stupid black/blue/green screen effect every single time you see the chance to! Videos that abuse effects only strike one question to those who have a keen eye on observing AMVs: "What the f*** am I supposed to be looking at here, anyway?"

3.) The song's meaning

At least make sure the AMV... makes sense.
- Okay... so you're going to use a Japanese song... Not knowing the language is no excuse to not make the video at least fit the song's meaning. And I'm not saying line by line meaning. Line by line meaning is fine, but not if it's used too much. What I mean is... you're using a song about... let's say, this world... This WORLD... and you use scenes that would fit a love song more... -facepalm- There is one thing that can make up for this... and that's timing. If you did the AMV mainly for timing to the song... then at least make sure it's properly timed.

4.) Those picture slideshows

- Slideshows are fine and dandy. Adding those zoom in/zoom out effects alternately actually does it some good. Not adding effects at all also does it some good. But! At least, don't put a single picture for around, 30 seconds of the song or so. That's a waste and an insult to the song.

5.) Intro Videos

Short videos make the best intros.
- Some AMV makers feel the need to make an "intro video" portraying that the AMV was made by them. These things are okay... But come on. Your intro video is 30-60 seconds long... Imagine the trouble dial-up users have to go through just to watch your AMV. Imagine the frustration of AMV watchers as they see a 2-minute AMV, with only 1 minute alloted for the actual AMV. Whenever I see AMVs with such a loong intro, I skip them.

6.) Credits - Should go at the end of the AMV. Period.

In conclusion: AMV-making is not simply grabbing a bunch of clips and putting them together. It's an art, as well as a hobby. All people can make GOOD AMVs, all it takes is practice, and the understanding of what makes a GOOD AMV.

Time to rant about school life again.

So, today is the first day of enrollment for my classmates and I. I was patiently waiting for their SMS message to tell me to come, or to tell me exactly when they would enroll.

And what do I get? I get a call from another classmate (who hasn't enrolled yet) telling me that my so-called "~~friends~~" (well, scratch that) had already enrolled themselves. Did I get a single SMS message about this? Not one.

I am angry, yes. I really am. But what I don't get is why I'm laughing right now. I don't know if Oz's -pointsaticon- twisted attitude, but I actually knew it was going to be like this. I guess I'm laughing right now because the words "oh lol I knew it" are swimming in my head.

Aaanyway, back to stuff.

Uhh, some if you may think twice about me after this XDD;;; -runs-

Anyway, I've been in the Tales Forums, AC Forums, some other forums for a long while now (3-4 years?), and everyone knows how I am there: post my opinions, silent about other fights there, just shrug off whatever's happening, etc. You know me, I'm neutral XD.

Aaaanyway, we all know there are a lot of sarcastic and negative people in these forums (not mentioning who), and I noticed, with the Tales Forums being a forum targeting the Western side of the world (and AC too, I think, even if I'm the one running that even though I'm from the Phils), sarcastic remarks are usually just seen as normal posts, or ignored.

So, I did a little experiment. The Western audiences are pretty much adept at accepting sarcastic remarks, so I wondered... how about my fellow Filipinos? Are they able to accept sarcastic and negative remarks without making such a WHOA MAN big deal about it? Well, let's see!

I did this little experiment in my actual school's forum. LOL YES my school's forum xD. I don't know why, but I had no other forums to test it out on (without making a bad reputation lol), and to be honest, it's my school's forum (like, more than half of the school population don't even know it exists... much less make a forum WORK). And I needed a Filipino forum to test this out on.

How did I test it out? I joined the forum (I think this is my second account, 'cause the first one I forgot the password and such), and then what...? I acted like a total jerk. Like, every post I saw there, regardless of content, I replied with negative or sarcastic remarks.

RESULTS:
OK, at first, I thought the Filipino forum members are the same as, let's say, the Tales Forums. My posts were either ignored or replied to normally. This went on for a few weeks (3, I think).
I was going to mark it off as a failed experiment, but then this one guy replied in an attacking manner, though the problem with his reply is that he replied to one of my "normal" posts, not my negative ones. Hrm, that guy didn't really reply back, so crossed out.
And I went MIA from the forums for a while, because I was dead bored, and had better things to do, like AC's ver3 (and Apollo Justice xD).
When I came back however, I see this. As I saw this, I was ecstatic! My experiment worked xD!! Someone finally reacted!

So anyway, I wasn't done just yet. I replied in my usual negative manner. I made a long post which was intended to make someone go tl;dr, and indeed, the poster probably went tl;dr on me (if... they actually know what tl;dr is. I noticed in my school forum that some people don't even know what the basic "btw" means).

So, I got my desired results, and I'm done with this experiment. And lol at the guy saying I should act accordingly because this is an "official forum". LOL, compare this forum to the official Tales of Series Forums, this is like a poorly run public forum. I find myself -facepalming- at the number of spammed posts/threads, TxT msseGeS, DOUBLE POSTERS (asadsfdgd) and not to mention WUT posts that the so-called moderators have ignored up until now. I applaud Lunar, Ryuu and Shinryu for their moderating in the Tales Forums, they actually keep everything in order.... up to the point that I actually PM Lunar regularly to ask if I've accumulated any points (the points you get for violating any of the rules, that if they reach a certain amount, you get suspended/banned from the Tales Forums).

I don't know why, but I'm feeling pretty BAD right now. I have no idea WHY, but after I took a bath tonight, my body felt real different (~~Like, I took a bath with cursed water or something >_>~~). My stomach feels weird, my legs feel really weak, my hands shiver when I hold them up, my head feels like jelly and my throat feels like there's something stuck in it X__X... Please don't let this be serious T__T.

In Which I Rant/Rave About This Season's Anime Subbers

Despite the many shows this season of Spring, I only have a few in my list, namely Pandora Hearts, Tears to Tiara, FMA Brotherhood and Valkyria Chronicles. I've watched a few others as well, but I didn't like them at all >_>... (Incidentally I am finding that Cooking Idol show that features a real person quite enjoyable... If only they'd stop using cabbages as their main ingredient... And I'm urging to download that Beyblade show, 'cause I used to be a fan ahahhahahaha lol)

So anyways, subbing hunting here we go~~~~

And then a few hours later... bah >__>...

I'm sorry, but I'm just going to wait for another group ;_;. The font color/font face they used so do not fit PH. I don't care much about encode quality (heck, PH's animation isn't even good to begin with >_>), so that's OK (IMO their encode's OK). But ugh, lines translated differently, misheard lyrics, and wrong terms. For example, you don't call the emissaries of Abyss "chains". The Chains are entirely different from the emissaries! And since when did a music box (orugooru) become a "Pandora's box"?? There are also a bunch of other lines mistranslated (i.e. breakfast [choushoku] became lunch in their subs). Not to mention the logo and credits typesetting. They simply do NOT blend. And then first I see "Young Master Oz" and the next thing I see an "Oscar-sama". Can't they stick with one language for the honorifics? GAH I am sad because of this. Either I'm waiting for another group, or just watch the raws.

Wow, for a group that's just starting out, their release is lovely. I'm against the chosen font again though, but the karaoke really fits, and the translations are correct. Although I'm seeing Oscar-sama and Young Master Oz again >__>. Anyway, correct terms though, so great! If I see no other group working on PH, will definitely stick to theirs no question.

Tears to Tiara

Not exactly a subbing team. See, Animax is doing this real-time simulcast with some countries, including mine. So, if Tears to Tiara is airing in Japan right now, it's airing here as well. Of course, you won't expect GREAT typesetting from a cable channel, so I'll cross that one out. I saw what I expected, however. Correct terms, nice flow of words, and correct translations. If I were to go with some other sub groups, I'd only do so for archive purposes, since I can just watch it on TV. Only downside is... 12:35AM WHY??

FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Fast. I hope that speed actually LASTS this time >_>. Anyway, they decided to go with a fully soft=subbed release this time, and I'm happy with that. Nice font/font color, nice typesetting, very nice. HD encode's nice too. Wording is good too. I'd say go for Shinsen if you like speed/softsubs

Still pretty fast if you ask me. And since I'm a sucker for XviD encodes (they play on my DVD, OK??), I went with them. Nice, simple karaoke this time around. Still using awesome XviD encodes, and IMO their font is nicer than Shinsen's, but I prefer Shinsen's all-white subs.
~~~~~ And since I trust these two subbing teams for quality, I won't be bothering with the other sub groups. Unless it's another group known for their quality... ehh, Menclave?

My first time ever hearing of them, but very nice! Nice, simple, readable karaoke, very nice choice of font and font color, very clean XviD encode, and nice wording too. Now I haven't played Valkyria, but I'm going to assume those terminologies they used are correct.

My first time hearing of these guys too, but they have nice subs~. I prefer their font to Doremi's, but I prefer Doremi's kara and SD version so... But if you prefer fully hardsubbed HD releases, go with Ayako.

I DID BAD ON MY BLOODY PHYSICS EXAM (ok, maybe not bad, but I could've done better... and if I had done better, I could've gotten a better grade >______>)

BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW PROFESSOR HAVE MERCYYYYYYYYY T______T

Although I feel really bad for my Professor. I mean, my classmates always go "SIIIIRRRRRRRRRR PLEASE TAKE CONSIDERATIONSSSSS!!" while I just listen while talking to my Iranian classmate, who usually doesn't get what's going on since my classmates talk in our native language. My Professor has given us enough considerations, imo. ... But that still doesn't change the fact that around 6 or so in the class failed Physics this semester. And if I were a Professor, I'd find it saddening that my students fail. I mean, that could only mean three things: 1.) I fail as a professor, 2.) My students don't study and 3.) My students are stupid. And in our case, it's actually number 2, since he's a veerrryy effective Professor in my opinion, and I don't really regard my classmates as "stupid".

Relieving Stress, Ranting About Classmates, Fangirling, ETC

Posting to LJ already relieves me of stress, so scratch that off the list.

And now, I rant about my classmates >_>. To be precise, only one of 'em.

I have a classmate who used to like me as more than a friend (and I'm saying "used to" because I believe he doesn't see me that way anymore and good riddance for that >_O, and no, this isn't the same guy I talked about in one of my previous posts).

He used to be a kind, gentleman, logical and considerate guy. But that was sooo last semester.

This proves the theory made up by whoever that people really do change.

As of late, he has become an obnoxious, conceited and annoying prat. Now, usually I wouldn't mind seeing someone being obnoxious and conceited... as long as said person had a right to do so. But that wasn't the case for him.

In example, we recently had an exam on carbohydrates in Organic Chem. To be honest, I did not study at all for said exam (I fell asleep as soon as I got home from school the day before... O_o), so I had a bloody hard time with it, and same goes for the smartest person in our class.

Once we were done with said exam however, he goes all "Oh wow, that exam was easy, huh?" The rest of us, including the smartest person in class, went O___o.

Then comes the arrival of our exam results. I passed, but the score wasn't something of my liking.

And lol his score. To sum it up, he failed the exam.

And earlier was our final exam (part 1) for Organic Chem. He was doing his obnoxious act again by asking us some review questions, and would laugh at us if we got it wrong or if we didn't know the answer. His so-called "questions" however, are what my Professor would consider "lacking and incomplete, and therefore, wrong".

I don't know how I did in the finals yet, but I'm pretty confident I passed. As for him, who the hell knows.

In a slightly somewhat related note, we recently had our BS Biology Day at school, wherein Biology students such as myself celebrate a day together with food and events. Our main event for that day was a Hermaphrodite Beauty Contest (if you're a guy, you enter as a girl, and vice versa). Said guy entered, said guy won.

Am I proud? Of course not. I was somewhat disgusted at the whole idea of a "hermaphrodite" beauty contest in the first place. Especially the act he put up for everyone. It horrified me.

TBH I've stopped watching Shugo Chara Doki since episode 64 (lack of quality subbers [sorry, but I'm picky], lack of Kuukai, lack of Sky Jack, lack of Kuukai, and did I mention lack of Kuukai?). I just got to watch from episode 71 again because of the lack of anime to watch (AND also lack of subbers, but that's all going to change this April, 'cause I have a LOT of shows to watch this Spring =D).

I just finished watching episode 74, and I have to say ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥~~ Finally, some VOCAL progress on IkutoXAmuXTadase ♥~! And it was also the White Day episode, which I'm celebrating with a special someone (I made it a point for us to follow the Japanese way of Valentine's/White Day, so I was the one who gave him homei choco last Feb 14, and I got myself some chocolate crinkle cookies he baked [wait, he can BAKE??] today ♥, but let's now dwell into that xD)

But what I'm really looking forward to is next episode, ♥ ♥ ♥ (see screenshot above). It's the Kuukai and Utau race and ramen eating episode. Now I don't know if they'll actually make this pair for real, but I really liked it in the manga (and I don't even know if they continued this in the manga, 'cause I stopped reading that too. I'm a bad fan T__T).

TBH I'm all for AmuXTadase, but I feel the same way about AmuXIkuto. So yeah lol I can't make up my bloody mind. I soo cannot wait for next week =D...

In personal stuff my finals are almost here... And I'm gonna go through hellz again. Wahahahaha ahha aha ha... WAAHHH T___T.

Am I Being Too Mean D=....?

Before the big question, a little story first.

I've been in college for about a year and a half now. In my first year with my fellow Biology major students, there was a normal guy there. He'd always be around where I was, but I really didn't notice because either 1.) I never cared or 2.) I'm just dense like that. He tries to impress the class all the time, but only ends up making a fool out of himself (seriously). I also noticed then that he would be one of my regular classmates who would accompany me home (we were a group), despite the fact that there was a quicker, cheaper route back to his house. But back then, I didn't give a damn, 'cause other things were more important in life for me, like Tales. -shot-

Anyway, I think you guys pretty much get where this is going. Eventually, I found out that he did have a thing for me, and by then, I already knew, but was just pretending not to know. I mean, I didn't want any... (wait a sec, why is Firefox marking the word "didn't" as a mispelled word??) -- I didn't want any kind of distractions in life... and flat out, I didn't like him at all. He actually annoyed me a lot (I hate conceited people who have nothing to be conceited about). He however, didn't have the courage to tell me face to face, so he used one of my classmates as a mediator between us. So, I told my friend flat out: "Please tell him to stop it, I have no interest in him, and in dating anyone else, for that matter."

The reply was "Me? Forget her? In her dreams."

And for some funny reason, I found this reply very, very annoying. But I just shrugged it off, thinking he'd give up when he finally realizes he'd have no chance (I'm not being hard to get, I'm just not interested in dating anyone at all).

But this however, annoyed me a whole lot:
I was walking along the corridors to my next class. I was at the door, and through a small crack, I saw that only the boys were there, including him. I sighed and started to walk toward the library instead, but they caught my attention when one said, "Recite the line you're gonna tell Abby when she comes! Recite it! Practice it!"

Of course, it made me a bit interested, so I stayed by the door to listen. Just to point out, I spend most of my free time at class playing with my best friend's DS. As in, almost all the time... XD

The line was, "Your favorite handheld is the DS right (me: lol no it isn't)? When I grow up, I want to be a DS, so that you'd touch me all the time."

... I just stood there out the door, staring at the wall like... hmmm, wearing a sarcastic face, I think? I gave them a full 10 seconds so that they could finish their laughing fit, and I entered the room. They all went quiet, but I payed no heed. I quietly went to my seat and pulled out my MP3 player, put it in full volume (Follow the Nightingale :3), and slumped down on the desk. I heard footsteps approach. Before he could even get near my table, I brought my head up and glared. I just glared, and he went back to his seat. The boys laughed out loud, but I didn't care.

The next annoying thing that happened was already during our second semester of the first year. We were tasked to create a video for Sociology showing the different social problems one has to face. So, they were showing theirs... and it felt strangely familiar. A girl who came from a province, now in the big city, falls in love with a guy who does nothing but play on his PSP, yet she never gives up on him, etc etc etc. The dialogue was very, very similar to something that happened in real life.

I however, ignored it. I mean, why should I be affected so much?

But... this is when I blew a fuse...

Again, same scenario, I was walking to the classroom. The boys were there again, this time, with a few of the girls. They were having a discussion, and this is what I remembered:

"Just give up already," said one of the girls. "She doesn't like you, and that's that."

"Yeah, pare (pare is like, compadre, or something)," said his guy friend. "There are still so many other girls out there. Just find another one."

He shook his head. "No way, man. I don't want any other girl."

Me: rolls eyes

"It's all that stupid Tales of's fault."

I jumped at this sentence. Excuse me?

"All she ever does is play Tales of Innocence on that DS. All she talks about is the Tales of games or something. She goes online for long hours just because of her site with all Tales in it. She's so obsessed with it that she doesn't pay any heed to me, or to other guys," he said.

I don't know what happened, but I found myself clenching my fists at this statement.

"And she's always hugging that... that artbook full of pics of... of..."

"Leon," one of the girls said. Yeah, Leon Magnus. It's the ToDDC premium box art book that he's talking about.

"Yeah, that. Why does she fantasize so much about those fictional characters anyway?" he demanded. "What's so great about that Leon anyway? I've seen his pics online. He looks like such a girl. And a snob."

I felt my eyes close I tried to contain the emotions within me.

"And especially that Ruca. Such a sissy. Saw some vids on YouTube of him cowering like a puppy."

.... That's what's so awesome about him, dumbass...

"And hell, that Jade character she also likes? Such an ass."

.... FUCK YOU.

That was the last straw. I barged in and grabbed him by the collar.

"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" I yelled at him. "HOW DARE YOU MAKE FUN OF THE TALES SERIES?! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO MAKE FUN OF IT??!" I saw for once that he looked afraid. My classmates tried to stop me, but I continued. "This is the last time... DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO ME! DON'T YOU DARE EVEN COME NEAR ME! YOUR EXISTENCE IS NOTHING TO ME AS OF NOW, YOU DON'T EXIST ANYMORE. FUCK YOU!"

That's when I let go of him, went to my seat, put say goodbye & good day to full volume, and slept, waiting for the next class...

.... Was I too mean? He's no longer at school, he moved to somewhere in the mountains (SRSLY), but I always hear from his guy friends that he's still in love with me. ~~Not that I care lol. Yes, I'm mean like that.~~

Yaaaay new layout xD. Thanks to premade_ljs for this ^_^/ Just modified a few images and stuff here and there.

Anyway, I'm -trying- to be active in LJ again. TRYING... so yeah, here's my first post after a long while xD (TB monster pen doesn't count >.>)

My internet time has been reduced to a mere ONE HOUR PER DAY -dies- and my study time extended to a whole FOUR HOURS PER DAY T____T. So, main reason for my inactivity (or... rushing quests) is my school prelim grades. One look at them and... and... damn. So far, only 3 subjects have good grades (out of 7), one is so-so, two are hanging by a thread (Filipino, my native language, one of them. Hahaha I suck at my own language), and PhysEd is... PhysEd .___.; GAH.

On Sundays though (right now), I'm allowed to be on for as long as I want... provided I DID study a full six hours on Saturday T___T.

And who came up with this mental torture? Myself. Hey, if I don't take the first step forward, I'd never be able to do this. So yeah.

And so far, things have been going okay in my midterms ^_^/ I got 100 in my first two exams in Physics (one of them subjects hanging by a thread V_V), and 100 in the first exam in Statistics (one of those with the good grades). I got to keep my head straight or else I'm doomed T__T. And look, I have this cute little lucky charm with me everyday at school, it's attached to my bracelet:

You guys familiar with Code Geass R2? He's Rollo Lamperouge from that series. I really love him, even if he is somewhat of a psycopath... It was given to me as a present from someone special ^_^/. LOL, I think I should have Lelouch for exams instead of Rollo, and Suzaku for PhysEd xD...

Although I would've preferred Lelouch himself, he reasoned that the Lelouch model looked gay. And true enough, looking at the box which includes the other models, Lelou really does look gay, so I'm glad all the same that he got me Suzaku ^_^/

And the Ouran High School Host Club DVD Part 02 (English Dub) just came out... I'm debating on whether I should order it or not... ($50 T__T)

My Composer Pick for Eternal Sonata sequel (if it were to have one)

I know this is supposed to be a "sequel" to ES, but I figured, if the story of ES was based off Chopin's life, why not base the next one on another composer's life directly, and make it so that it has nothing to do with the original ES? Kind of like an indirect sequel.

And this time, I'm not making it into a "death bed" thing. What if (just if) one of the famous composers from the past was actually inspired to do music BECAUSE he entered the dream-like world?

The composer I chose is Franz Clement, a famous Australian violinist known to be able to play complex pieces just by his memory. Despite that, his playing style is light and elegant, not forceful and quite pleasing to the ears. He is also acquainted with Beethoven.

Franz finds himself in a dream, a dream of music and melodies. In this world, songs are actually a form of magic. And in contrast to the previous ES, no, having magic doesn't mean you're ill. In this dream, where he is but a young child, he meets a young man (older than him, of course XD) Parland, a knight in the Kingdom of Pesante (basically the capital of this world, or the most influential land), devoted to his duty and protecting the royal family and the Holy Diva, Ottava.

In this world, there's a specific religion wherein they believe in a God. In this religion, they believe that their God will "once more arise when two smiles don the night sky." Since I made it so that the world has two moons, this means that their God will awaken when the two moons don the sky reflected in a crescent shape. And such phenomenon only happens once in a century. The Holy Diva is said to be the one to sing the song of reawakening and perform the ritual to awaken their God. Ottava however, is not quite devoted to her duty. She was taken when she was still very young and shut in the castle, just because she holds the powers to sing the song of reawakening.

Parland and Ottava meet when Ottava tries to sneak out of the castle one day. Because of her constant whining, Parland had no choice but to escort her around the capital. Through this time, Parland wonders, is it really worth sacrificing her whole life just to be the Holy Diva?

But what if, in the end, the God their reviving goes against them...?

As Franz escorts the party through their journeys, he says to himself "I shall never forget this wonderful melody of two lovers bound by an inescapable destiny..." Which kind of makes it why he remembers melodies so well, he's able to play them by himself after a short briefing.

Okay, if you've read my post here, you'll definitely know what's going on in this video. And yes, it's supposed to make you lol.

Apparently, they modeled the characters out of me and the guy who's existence I've already erased from my head. And here, are of course, my comments on it:

1. HEAVEN'S SAKE I AM NOT GAY! I'M NOT EVEN A GUY TO BEGIN WITH! WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT!?
2. Yes, I act like that in real life, always playing games in school, the headset always on, only I always bring with me Karl's Nintendo DS, not a PSP. (I wish I had a PSP, but meh ._.)
3. This video is actually well put together... And no, apparently it's NOT Windows Movie Maker.... But it seems to be a crappy program just the same. Ha. Nothing can beat Vegas and Premiere! Ha!
4. Our own presentation would've been better if we were allowed to use videos, IMO. It was bloody AGAINST THE RULES TO USE VIDEOS BUT THEY WENT ON AHEAD AND DID ONE. But I'm gonna stop right there. I don't hold grudges, oh no I don't. (~~Except those in my black list. You know who you are, and you're all gonna die pretty soon in my hands. AHAHAHA!~~)
5. While I'm writing this I'm reading an M-rated fic of Meine Liebe, and no it's not yaoi 8D...
6. After watching this, I was all, "Was I that mean...?" and after 10 seconds of contemplating, I went "Oh hell yes I AM mean!" in a happy, giddy tone.
7. The yaoi parts in this video actually made me giggle a couple of times... I... need counseling... O_o...
8. At least he hasn't started stalking me. (CHELSEAA!), otherwise, he'd be this: (lol Barbaghost XD)
9. I was looking for a moment, but apparently, there wasn't any there. Too bad.
10. And no, my opinion on him still hasn't changed.

That said, I'm gonna go play Tales of Phantasia again. 8D. CHESTEEERRRR~! XDDD
